Barbara Raidl trained as a painter and unexpectedly fell in love with screen printing. Her love of flowers drives much of her work, and many of these images are drawn directly from the garden that has taken over her backyard (and porch, and side yard, and the little bit of land next to the garage—and in some summers the parkway between her house and the street…).
Kinaloon has been printing cards from original artwork for over a decade. All drawings are done by hand, with minimal digital intervention. All cards, both silkscreen and letterpress, are printed by hand, by Barbara, in Chicago IL. Kinaloon is sold throughout the United States and Canada.
